FIBERTOWN, Houston’s premier tier-IV-designed data center and disaster recovery office space provider, closed a new agreement to provide long-term data center services for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, a Houston-based, 350-physcian multispecialty medical group. The Clinic will consolidate and move its current Houston data centers into a large section of FIBERTOWN’s Bryan-based data center. “Kelsey-Seybold trusts us to manage client-facing applications and deliver high availability for its mission critical data because we guarantee 100% uptime and protection of its most important assets,” said Brandon Perryman, vice president of sales for FIBERTOWN. For the past several years, Kelsey-Seybold has expanded patient care services in the Houston area and currently serves more than 400,000 patients in the region. The Clinic has made significant investments in information technology to improve patient care services and physician access to medical information. “Our selection of the FIBERTOWN facility for our data center services provides a flexible way to meet our growing IT capacity needs in a highly secure and reliable data center environment,” said Philip Price, Ph.D, vice president of information technology for Kelsey-Seybold.
